The Balcony Concerts.
Social Distancing forces us to find creative ways of connecting with our friends, our neighbors. I started doing a series of Balcony Concerts two or three times a week to entertain the folks who are stuck in their apartments around me. It’s truly wonderful to see them come out on their decks when they hear the music, and just sit and relax, and listen. So peaceful 🙂
My Romance.
For International Jazz Day, I thought I’d pay homage to our rich and amazing jazz history by playing My Romance for my neighbors. It’s such a beautiful tune, and such a fun vehicle for soloing. I also was thinking it’d be fun to perform as a line drawing for this one. Special thanks the eye candy provided by Irene the Dancing Goat, choreographed by Julie Ann Accornero.
