This is the single from my new album, Songs My Father Taught Me. Hearing the song’s writer/performer Timmy Thomas passed away, I went back and listened to the original version that he did back in 1972. I was so taken by how the song resonates so much today. It just feels like we all are needing a little soul soothing and to hear this song again. So I hope you enjoy this version, featuring the amazing Tony Lindsay on vocals.
